It’s understandable that when the heat arrives, you’ll want your pool ready for summer. However, requesting quotes in April or May to have your pool ready by July is an idea that rarely works out. Pool companies are swamped with work from May through August, which means:
Month-long waiting lists: The best installers have their schedules fully booked as early as January or February. If you contact them in the spring, they most likely won’t be able to start your project until after the summer.
Higher prices: The law of supply and demand also applies to the pool industry. During peak demand months, prices are typically 10–20% higher than in the off-season.
Less attention to detail: When installers are working at full capacity on several projects at once, the quality of supervision may suffer.
The Advantages of Building Between September and March
