All About RENOLIT ALKORPLAN
What is RENOLIT ALKORPLAN reinforced sheet?
RENOLIT ALKORPLAN is a PVC membrane reinforced with polyester mesh that guarantees the total waterproofing of swimming pools. It is the most widely used system in Europe due to its durability, aesthetics and ease of maintenance.
What is the warranty?
The traditional warranty is 10 years. But Renolit offers its customers an extended warranty of 15 years for work performed by certified installers. That's why all our work comes with a 15-year warranty.
Can it be installed over existing tile?
Generally speaking, one of the great advantages of RENOLIT ALKORPLAN is that it can be installed on any existing surface (gresite, cement, fiber, etc.) without the need for demolition, which reduces time and costs. However, each case must be analyzed on a case-by-case basis.
How long does the installation take?
Installation time depends on the size of the pool. A standard 8 x 4m residential pool is usually completed in 3-5 days, if there are no surprises or additional work.
Do reinforced sheet pools require any special or different maintenance than traditional tiled pools?
Basically no, maintenance is even easier and cheaper. The only consideration is that we need metal-free products. Use special liner chlorine or special liner anti algae products that are free of metals such as copper sulfate. These products can already be found in any house of the sector very easily.
Can I choose the color and design of the film?
Of course. RENOLIT ALKORPLAN offers a wide range of colors and designs: from classic plain tones to imitation mosaic, stone or sand. We advise you to choose the one that best suits your pool. And you can also play to choose the color of the water!
